[Solved] “ Major League City

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: no place really can be considered a “major league city” or “first-tier city” if it does not have a major league sports team. Please explain. Which has more Economic Impact for an area: a Major League Baseball Team, or a Minor League Baseball Team?  MLB Team or NFL Team? Please explain. 

In addition, if you were trying to persuade local officials/residents in your community to host a major sports event, what short-term benefits (direct impact) and long-term benefits (including spillover benefits) would you highlight?
