[Solved] Especially Reactions Involving Double

My selected paper is the Epoxidation of Methyl Esters as Valuable Biomolecules: Monitoring of Reaction. The quest for renewable sources for manufacturing different minerals, chemicals, or energy now derived from crude oil is a worldwide challenge (Hájek et al 2023) Triglycerides, one of the potential renewable sources that can be converted to esters by trans-esterification, are found in vegetable oils, animal fats, and used frying oil. Glycerol, manufactured mainly from oils and fats and has various chemical, food, and pharmaceutical uses, is a significant product. Although the esters are primarily used as fuel, they may be converted into epoxides with a wide range of uses. Because it discusses the bimolecular structure, developing the epoxide group is relevant to this course. Epoxidation is a chemical process in which an oxygen atom is added to a double bond to create an epoxide. Knowledge of organic chemistry, especially reactions involving double bonds and peroxides, is necessary to comprehend the mechanism of this reaction. Specific catalysts and reaction conditions are frequently needed for the epoxidation process to occur well.
