1. Why do you think presidents give State of the Union Addresses? What is the purpose and what are the possible benefits?

2. What are your initial thoughts on President Biden’s State of the Union Address? Were there things he said that you liked/disliked or agreed/disagreed with? Why or why not? Be specific and provide 2-3 examples. 

3. After watching the State of the Union Address, how do you feel about the current state of the Union? Are you optimistic? Provide your final overall thoughts.
