Assignment Instructions:

• Congratulations, you have been chosen to build out a network for a new facility for your company, ACME, Inc.
• Office Schematic, (select

  * ) each office is approximately a 10’x10′ space with 10′ ceilings. Building is roughly 125’x150′.

• Each office should contain two network ports minimum, one for Voice and one for Data. Room B will serve as your network closet.
• You will need to provide the following items in your submission:
  • Estimated Purchases list (some examples below)
    • Switches
    • Cable
    • Port plates
    • Punch Boards
    • UPS and Power
    • Etc.
  • A timeline of installation (*estimated)
  • Chosen Typology (*estimated)

  • Your proposal should answer the questions above. If you have experience in networking, there are additional things you would “want”, but hold on those till later assignments, as the assignments build upon one another. *NOTE* This means you may reuse information from this assignment in future assignments as well, and I am granting you a waiver of not citing yourself in those assignments.

1) Describe the four basic dimensions styles of the MBTI

2)   Discuss your specific personality type, including all four dimensions, i.e. ENFP.  Give SPECIFIC examples of how this assessment does or does not apply to you and your management style. This analysis needs to include how this style affects your communication on the job. In other words, how does your stye affect the way you communicate with others? Were you aware of this communication style? How has your style helped you or hindered your work performance or success?

3)   Identify a current co-worker’s MBTI’s style giving several examples of how they communicates and how they behave.   Look at the material on the specific styles and be sure you to do cite that material.

4)   How might you have a conflict with this co-worker?  What can you do to resolve that conflict positively and what could you do that would resolve the conflict ineffectively?

DOCUMENTING | 10 Points

Throughout the quarter you will be tasked with exploring current events, media, social media, and other forms of pop culture to analyze and document in your pop culture journal (you will be posting your journal entry to your peer discussion group on Canvas each week it is due, but it may be helpful to keep this is a running document in your own files to add to each week, then copy and paste from your journal onto Canvas). This will give you an opportunity to make connections between what we are learning about in class related to rhetorical/critical frameworks of inquiry and what you are seeing in the world around you, as well as empowering you to explore topics that particularly interest you. Each week that you are assigned a public life journal entry (see course schedule), you should:

• (1) describe the context of your example (important parts like what this means relative to the historical context and social world, who, what, when, where, why, how etc.)-you may post a picture or a link if that would be helpful
• (2) clearly connect it to a particular concept, idea, term, theory, method, etc. we are learning about that week (your book can be a helpful guide here)-be sure to label the concept clearly, describe it, and apply it to your chosen example and
• (3) include and cite at least one reference for your example below your post/entry.

Perception of messages is not as straightforward as we need it to be, nor as easy. Additionally, in our changing society, we are learning how to interact with people who culturally have different beliefs, values, and attitudes. For the initial post, address the following questions. Use the provided headings, and, under each heading, answer the question in a full paragraph. Please use your textbook and an outside scholarly source in your post, and make sure you cite both sources using APA formatting.

Consider the interview questions attached and examine what is known about how we may view and interact with trauma, in society and in education, while thinking about the following prompts below:

• Explore growth in understanding what trauma is and how it is experienced across the lifespan.
• Consider and reflect on how one perception has changed as a result of trauma informed learning.
• Expound how trauma is acknowledged within education and provide suggestions of future practices to help others.
