[Solved] New Company Started Adding

[Solved] New Company Started Adding

This soft drink brand is recognized worldwide. The drink has one of the most recognized corporate logos and is sold in over 200 countries through 250 bottlers throughout the world.

This company’s story began in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1886, when pharmacist John Pemberton was experimenting with a recipe that he later mixed with carbonated water and began to sell at his drugstore. Two years after its invention, Pemberton sold his secret formula to a businessman by the name of Asa Candler, who formed a corporation to bottle and distribute the trendy drink. He later sold the rights to two other businessmen who wanted to bottle the drink to enhance distribution. Candler sold syrup that his company produced to these distributors, but not his secret formula. They simply mixed the syrup with carbonated water and bottled it. From there, the product became a household name as more people began to take the drink home to enjoy.

Competitors soon emerged. To ensure that people could tell the original from the competition, the distributors created the trademarked contour bottle in 1916 so that customers would recognize the original product. Candler ultimately sold his company in 1919 to a group of investors, with Robert Woodruff as the president. The new group wanted to make the drink available anytime and anyplace. To accomplish this, the new company started adding bottling plants all over the world.

The six Ps of the company vision statement highlight its purpose and desired future objectives—people, portfolio, partners, planet, profit, and productivity.

To assist in accomplishing its vision, the company established a foundation in 1984. This entity focuses on helping and giving back to communities worldwide. Some of the issues supported in various countries include water stewardship (providing safe, clean drinking water), lifestyle and behavioral change programs (e.g., nutrition, exercise, and behavior modification), recycling, and education.

[Solved] Used Three Boeing 737

[Solved] Used Three Boeing 737

Transportation

This major airline had a rocky road at its start. Incorporated in 1967, it never actually started flying planes until June of 1971 because of lengthy legal challenges by other major airlines. When it finally started services between Dallas and Houston and Dallas and San Antonio, it used three Boeing 737 aircraft and offered $20 one-way fares. Soon, the company introduced a $10 “night fare” and several other attractive schemes. In 1973, it ended the year with its first profits since starting operations and began developing a loyal customer base.

By the 1990s, this airline had become well-established as a major passenger carrier with popular campaigns that focused on families such as the “Family Fare.” By 2000, the company had moved up to number two on this famous list and had expanded its rewards program for customers. Beyond that, as the decade progressed and moved into the second decade of this century, this airline instituted a number of other discount flight initiatives that encouraged air travel and expanded its customer reach.

[Solved] Regulate Mental Health Professionals

[Solved] Regulate Mental Health Professionals

1.  #Based on the information this case study provided, Dr. Kim’s behavior of allowing hugs from his client raises potential ethical concerns. Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries is crucial in the therapeutic relationship, as it helps establish a safe and secure environment for the client.

Establishing clear boundaries serves the therapist and the client, as it helps to create an unambiguous set of ground rules upon which to build trust and guide the behavior of both the client and therapist. The thoughtful communication of boundaries can also convey the therapist’s commitment to act in the client’s best interest and assurance that they will not intentionally harm the client (Barnett, 2017).

By allowing hugs, Dr. Kim might be blurring the lines between a professional and personal relationship, which can create confusion and undermine the therapeutic process. It’s important for therapists to uphold ethical guidelines that prioritize the well-being and autonomy of their clients.

In this case, Dr. Kim’s discomfort over time indicates that he recognizes the potential issue with the repeated requests for hugs. Seeking supervision from a more experienced therapist demonstrates a responsible and ethical approach to address the situation. Supervision allows therapists to gain insights, feedback, and guidance from their peers or senior professionals, helping them navigate challenging cases effectively while prioritizing the best interests of their clients.

Question for the class: How might breaches in professional boundaries impact not only the therapeutic relationship but also the overall well-being and progress of the client?

2# In reading the case study for Unit 6, I assessed Dr. Kim’s behavior by noting he may not be comfortable with physical touch with his clients, let alone a new client. In addition, because Dr. Kim has been practicing for so long, it may be a boundary issue for him. “(There was increased recognition that some boundary crossings, such as therapist self-disclosure and nonsexual touch, can be clinically valuable. Topics such as appropriate therapeutic boundaries, potential conflicts of interest, and ethical and effective ways of managing multiple relationships were addressed in some ethics codes (Corey, 2019).” Nowhere in the code of ethics states that you cannot hug your client. “None of the ethics boards that regulate mental health professionals specifically prohibit the use of touch or view it as unethical. There are times when your therapist may believe that it’s more harmful to you not to initiate a hug. In some cases, nonsexual, therapeutic touch may be beneficial (Karin et al., 2021).” I think a potential ethical issue could be that the client starts to like the therapist, or the client could misinterpret the hug the wrong way and report the therapist, although the client wanted a hug.

Question: Do you think this case study has a lot to do with boundaries?

1#. I think that Maslow’s needs are pretty applicable to my own life as each category from the down up ties into the other very well. I feel like starting at the bottom of the pyramid is the most important and everything must be met as it works its way up. In order to truly reach the full potential at the top, the bottom tiers truly do need to be met. Nothing can be built on without the core essentials of living with food, water, shelter, etc. Every tier builds on upon another until the top and it all makes sense, you need the bottom essentials to truly be able to reach the top. Advice that I would give someone to stay motivated on their goal to reach full potential is to keep growing. Keep living with an open mind and to keep being themself. These things are important to truly reach next steps when already pretty high up on the pyramid. Eventually the top of the pyramid will be reachable, as all goals are within reach with hard work.

2.#

Masslow’s Hierarchy of needs is definitely applicable to my own life. This is the theory that fits

the hierarchy of my life.

I believe that at the bottom of Maslow’s Hierarchy needs pyramid are definitely the first set to get

before any other can be gotten. My reason for agreeing with Maslow’s  theory is , because the facts that

we , as humans, will concentrate first on our needs that keep us alive , healthy and going so that we

may reach the other levels of this hierarchy. If, we get hungry, then it is our natural instinct to find food

to fill that hunger feeling., because it is a bad feeling if not atteneded too. The same goes for feeling

cold and the natural instinct to find warmth in whatever form it may be in.

My life following Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs goes as follows:

FIRST LEVEL– Physological needs: Crying for a bottle as a baby, waiting for Sunday lunch from mama, standing in line at catfateria at school for lunch

2nd LEVEL–Safety Needs: Feeling safe at home with mama and daddy’s, getting dorm room in college, growing up getting first place alone and paying all your bills for the first time.

3rd LEVEL– Belongingness & Love : First love, getting married, accepted by classmates, my                 teacher, by family. Belonging to other half’s family, my family, my friends.

4th LEVEL–Esteem: Learning to love myself for me, Self-awareness, self-love, accomplished, achieving my goals & being recognized for who I am, what I have accomplished , How far I have come.

5th LEVEL– First day of kindergarten, learning my a,b,c,’s & 1,2,3,’s, graduating high school, graduating coillege

6th LEVEL–Self-actualizationneeds– coming of age, starting menstrul cycle, own identity,self-style, being myself

My advice for self-actualization would be to stay focused on your goals, keep your self motivated by any means possible, but have fun at it. Do not be too serious and laugh a little. Take  little breaks when possible so you won’t burn-out. Be confident in your self and your skills and know your limitations. Always love yourself and stay physically & mentally healthy.(meditate, exercise, talk to advisors and counselors).
