Task: Start to develop a 1300 word data collection plan. Include any information/content you needed to be included in your collection plan, why you selected this information, and more importantly what you expect to be able to present to leadership through the collection plan

Imagine you are joining a health care company as a practice manager after the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The entire health care industry has changed due to this external influence. One of the major initiatives is the use of technology (e.g., telehealth). Your job responsibilities include analyzing internal and external influences that cause change in organizational behavior and culture. Once you have identified a change that is occurring, you need to communicate with your team in a way that is clear, engaging, and motivating to gain employee buy-in; this is effective change management.

Your memo should be:

• Directed to your team
• Engaging, positive, honest
• Considerate of people’s resistance to change 
• Incorporate motivational strategies to earn the employees’ buy-in

As a manager, you will write a 700- to 1,050-word memo directly to your team in which you:

• Identify a top internal (e.g., staffing) and external (e.g., pandemic) influence that would cause change to the culture/organization behavior.
• Announce the specific changes to your team (clear and concise message).
• Share the potential impacts and the time frame of the changes.

Consider your delivery and word choice to encourage your team to embrace the changes and create a smooth transition.

In “Why Grammar Snobbery Has No Place in the MovementLinks to an external site.,” Melissa A. Fabello argues the fine line between the issues of understanding and demanding grammar, between “appreciating language and being a snob.”

Enter into the debate yourselves by providing your own opinion on whether or not correct grammar is always necessary. Consider the following questions as you construct your post: Do you feel that grammar is a reflection of intelligence? Could “bad” grammar possibly be a reflection of something else? (Discuss one of the intersecting privileges that Fabello argues reinforces our concept of “correct” grammar.) How do you feel when you notice improper grammar when someone is speaking and/or writing? Conversely, how do you feel when someone corrects your grammar? Are you appreciative, annoyed, etc? Do you feel that we should always practice good grammar, or do you believe that grammar is conditional and should only be heeded in certain scenarios? In other words, is it permissible to use “improper” grammar with friends or family and not permissible to use in school, on the job, etc?

As always, make sure that your response is thorough, providing specific details and examples to reinforce your points (this also means providing quotations from Fabello’s article when appropriate). Also, be sure that your discussion meets the required 250 word count minimum and maximum of 300 words. Make sure your discussion is in MLA format including a title.

 

Write a reflection on the losses and grief responses of the main characters found in  the book, “Hannah’s Gift”. Include the following:
