[Solved] Specific Goal

[Solved] Specific Goal

For this exercise, you must demonstrate your understanding of an Excel workbook by discussing a personal or business workbook that you would create in order to help organize any area in your life. What would be the names of the columns and rows, and functions (if any) you would use to create this spreadsheet? Do you think it would be beneficial in helping you achieve a specific goal?

I only need 200-300 words.

[Solved] Chapter One Contains Many

[Solved] Chapter One Contains Many

Chapter One contains many different kinds of art.

• In a minimum of 500 words, compare and contrast the cave paintings to one (or more) of the later works of art. How are the cave drawings and other pieces of

art reflective of the human need to express ourselves artistically?

  • How do you express yourself artistically?
  • HELPFUL HINTS:To COMPARE two items means to tell us how they are the same. To CONTRAST two items means to tell us how they are different.Later works of art could be any ONE specific painting of your choice. For example, if you like Van Gogh’s Starry Night, you could use that one to compare and contrast. Or keep it closer to the same period of time and pick an image from the textbook later on in the chapter, like Sack of the City of Hamanu or Tribute Bearers Bringing Offerings. More than physical comparisons, the paper should point out the meanings, or reasons why the art was created in the first place. What are the two pieces telling us, what stories do they tell? Are the purposes behind each artwork the same or different? It is far easier to write a paper comparing and contrasting two specific art works than trying to group all cave paintings as one category, and all later paintings as a second category. The two cave paintings in your textbook are:
  1. Hall of the Bulls, Lascaux, Dorgogne France ca. 15,000-10,000 BCE
  2. Herd Crossing River, Valtorta Gorge, Levant Spain ca.8,000-3,000 BCE

You can use either of these as one of the pieces to compare and contrast, but if you want to explore other prehistoric cave paintings and use a different piece, you are allowed to do so. If you use a cave painting not from the textbook, then please insert a copy of the image you are using in your paper, and give its title, location and age.

[Solved] 2 Different States

[Solved] 2 Different States

you will use an interactive database that provides national and state-level data about the health status and behaviors of Americans. You can access the Data, Trends, and Map database through the following CDC link: https://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpao/data-trends-maps/index.html

Categories include:

  • obesity/weight
  • breastfeeding
  • fruits and vegetables
  • physical activity
  • sugar drinks
  • television watching

Data can also be filtered by demographics such as gender and race/ethnicity.

  1. Select any state for location (you will be comparing data from 2 different states).
  2. Select one of the categories from the list above from the dropdown menu under “Explore by Indicator.” Select a subcategory such as “behavior” or “environmental/policy” if it applies.
  3. Select “Go.”
  4. Using the dropdown menu under “view by,” continue filtering your data by age, education, gender, income, or race (select only one of these subcategories).
  5. Select the workbook icon in the upper right to see the data for your chosen state.
  6. Record your data in an Excel sheet using columns for sample size and values (example shown below showing Excel calculations and graph for Fruits and Vegetables by Behavior and Education level). Your data should include two different states of your choosing for comparison.
  7. Calculate the sum and average value for sample size and relevant categories (see Excel tutorial for guidance).
  8. Create a graph that compares the value data from both states. See the video link below for guidance on creating a clustered column chart.

Clustered column charts in Excel. Youtube. Retrieved from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiqwMM-80II

create a PowerPoint presentation that addresses the following:

  • Introduce the health status/behavior category you have chosen (obesity, breast feeding, fruits and vegetables, etc.).
  • Compare the data between the two states you have chosen (how do the values differ by category? How does the sample size influence the data for each state and category?)
  • Copy and paste your graph into your presentation, summarizing the data shown. How do the average values for each of your states compare to national data? How well do you think each state is performing compared to national levels?
  • Submit your Excel spreadsheet with graph as well as PowerPoint presentation.

This assignment includes two submissions – the Excel spreadsheet with data and graph plus a PowerPoint presentation. Your PowerPoint presentation should be approximately 3-4 slides, not including the Title and Reference slides.

[Solved] Local School District Must

[Solved] Local School District Must

Mini-Grant

Federal money for special education services is given to state educational agencies in the form of grants.  Each local school district must write a budget and submit it to the Mississippi Department of Education before it is granted to the local district.  Grant-writing is a complicated and tedious process.  Every grantor has specific criteria that must be met.  The mini-grant assignment is a very small example of what is required.  Special education classrooms, students, and teachers can always use money for instructional purposes. There are lists online of resources that have grants for education such as Walmart, Lowe’s, Hamburger Helper, Dollar General, MS Power, Alan Barton, Milken Education Foundation, etc.  One of the best places to get ideas is www.donorschoose.org Links to an external site..

You are to write a mini-grant using the format provided. Make it something that you would/could use for your students.

  2. Embed each graph in your initial post or provide the link with specific information on which graph is being evaluated. Be sure to reference your sources.
