[Solved] Employees Across Three Separate

[Solved] Employees Across Three Separate

Whether it’s a knowledge-based math quiz or a personal values survey, different tests assess candidates for different things. Tests can help a leader measure the skills and fit of potential team members. In this assignment, you’ll compare three widely-used, reputable, professional assessment tools and choose which of them is the best to apply in a specific hiring scenario. By exploring and comparing candidate assessment tools, you will prepare to complete the task of evaluating and selecting candidates for specific positions. You will receive feedback on this assignment that helps you prepare for the assignments in Weeks 7 and 10.InstructionsDownload the document Week 5 Assessment Tools [DOCX], and read about the three assessment tools: the DiSC assessment, the Cognitive Criteria Aptitude Test (CCAT), and the Emotional Intelligence Appraisal.Read each hiring scenario (these are also included in the document):Scenario 1: Your human resources department needs to hire a new Employee Relations Manager (ERM). This person’s job is to manage conflict and workplace issues between managers and employees across three separate departments. The ERM must be able to handle disgruntled employees and managers with compassion, discretion, and professionalism in situations where tempers may run high.Scenario 2: You need one more person on a team you’re putting together to launch a new tech startup business. You want to make sure this person’s personality balances out with the others you’ve already hired. Specifically, you’re looking for someone enthusiastic and outgoing, but also detail-oriented and focused.Scenario 3: You’re hiring a new financial analyst for your organization. This position needs an individual with strong problem-solving and reasoning skills as well as in-depth mathematical abilities. For each scenario, compare the three assessment tools, and decide which one would be the most effective in evaluating a candidate for the position. Write an answer for each scenario in one well-developed paragraph in which you identify the most effective tool and explain why it is more appropriate than the other tools.

[Solved] Least 500 Words

[Solved] Least 500 Words

In at least 500  words, answer the following question:

  • Choose one of the disasters of the Middle Ages. Where you see similarities and/or differences to today’s current events?
  • What can we learn from those similarities and differences?
  • HELPFUL HINTS: Think about more than just the physical differences and similarities. Go deeper, and explore the part that fear, ignorance (lack of knowledge or education), and confusion played during the Middle Ages and today. Since this is a Humanities class, a focus on how these catastrophes impacted societies and their culture (the arts, religion, and traditions) are an important part of your writing assignment.

[Solved] Intervention Group Discussed Tobacco

[Solved] Intervention Group Discussed Tobacco

A study was done looking at communication between adolescents with asthma and their health care provider. Forty-six providers from four pediatric practices in

North Carolina agreed to participate in the study. Two clinics were in rural areas and two were in suburban areas of North Carolina. Adolescent patients who

agreed to participate were randomized, along with their caregiver, into either the intervention group or the usual care group. The intervention group watched a

video on an iPad and then completed an asthma question prompt list before their visits. All visits were audiotape recorded. A secondary analysis of transcripts

from these medical visits of adolescents, ages 11-17 years, discovered that 44% (81 out of 185) of the adolescents and/or their providers from the intervention

group discussed tobacco smoking in a visit versus 32% (56 out of 174) in the control group.

From these results we can compute 3 different 95% confidence intervals using the sample proportions (p) from this study.

a) For estimate, pi = 0.44, 95% CI: (0.37, 0.51)

b) For estimate, pc = 0.32, 95% CI: (0.25, 0.39)

c) For estimate, pi – pc = 0.44 -0.32 = 0.12, 95% CI: 0.02, 0.22)

Prompt: After reading the short paper scenario and using the information provided, complete the steps below.

Part I

1. Describe the population that this sample was selected from.

2. Write out the research question that can be answered by the confidence interval (CI) in (a).

3. Describe in words the population parameter that is being estimated by the confidence interval in (a).

4. What is the margin of error for the confidence interval in (a)?

5. Interpret the CI in (a) using your own words. What answer is it giving us in regard to the research question?

Part II

1. Write out the research question that can be answered by the confidence interval in (c).

2. Describe in words the population parameter that is being estimated by the confidence interval in (c).

3. What is the margin of error for the confidence interval in (c)?

4. Interpret the confidence

:  interval in (c) using your own words. What answer is it giving us in regard to the research question?

[Solved] Apa Formatted Reference Page

The purpose of this assignment is to investigate informatics in healthcare and to apply professional, ethical, and legal principles to its appropriate use in healthcare technology.

Course outcomes: This assignment enables the student to meet the following course outcomes:

CO 4: Investigate safeguards and decision‐making support tools embedded in patient care technologies and information systems to support a safe practice environment for both patients and healthcare workers. (PO 4)

CO 6: Discuss the principles of data integrity, professional ethics, and legal requirements related to data security, regulatory requirements, confidentiality, and client’s right to privacy. (PO 6)

CO 8: Discuss the value of best evidence as a driving force to institute change in the delivery of nursing care. (PO 8)

Due date: Your faculty member will inform you when this assignment is due. The Late Assignment Policy applies to this assignment.

Total points possible: 240 points

Requirements:

·       Research, compose, and type a scholarly paper based on the scenario provided by your faculty, and choose a conclusion scenario to discuss within the body of your paper. Reflect on lessons learned in this class about technology, privacy concerns, and legal and ethical issues and address each of these concepts in the paper. Consider the consequences of such a scenario. Do not limit your review of the literature to the nursing discipline only because other health professionals are using the technology, and you may need to apply critical thinking skills to its applications in this scenario.

·       Use Microsoft Word and APA formatting. Consult your copy of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, as well as the resources in Doc Sharing if you have questions (e.g., margin size, font type and size (point), use of third person, etc.). Take advantage of the writing service SmartThinking, which is accessed by clicking on the link called the Tutor Source, found under the Course Home area.

·       The length of the paper should be four to five pages, excluding the title page and the reference page. Limit the references to a few key sources (minimum of three required).

·       The paper will contain an introduction that catches the attention of the reader, states the purpose of the paper, and provides a narrative outline of what will follow (i.e., the assignment criteria).

·       In the body of the paper, discuss the scenario in relation to HIPAA, legal, and other regulatory requirements that apply to the scenario and the ending you chose. Demonstrate support from sources of evidence (references) included as in‐text citations.

·       Choose and identify one of the possible endings provided for the scenario, and construct your paper based on its implications to the scenario. Make recommendations about what should have been done and what could be done to correct or mitigate the problems caused by the scenario and the ending you chose. Demonstrate support from

sources of evidence (references) included as in‐text citations.

·       Present the advantages and disadvantages of informatics relating to your scenario and describe professional and ethical principles appropriate to your chosen ending. Use facts from supporting sources of evidence, which must be included as in‐text citations.

·       Submit the completed paper to the “We Can But Dare We?” Dropbox by the end of Week 3. Please refer to the Syllabus for due dates for this assignment. For online students, please post questions about this assignment to the weekly Q & A Forums so that the entire class may view the answers.
