[Solved] Project One Milestone Template

[Solved] Project One Milestone Template

Overview

For Project One, due in Module Six, you will create a brochure describing a cognition clinic for prospective clients. In this milestone, you will select the specialty of your clinic (short-term/working memory, long-term memory, or attention), as well as its target population. Next, you will create an annotated bibliography of sources that provide research on the specific intervention your clinic focuses on. For your annotated bibliography, you will summarize two research report articles: one that is provided, and one that you will locate using Shapiro Library resources.

Prompt

Use the following resources to support your work on this milestone:

  • Reading: What Is an Annotated Bibliography? This Shapiro Library resource describes the purpose and characteristics of an annotated bibliography. It also includes examples of annotated bibliographies and a brief video.
  • Shapiro Library Research Guide: PsychologyResearch guides are developed by librarians to help you find and locate the information you need for your classes, papers, and projects. This guide is a great resource to help you search for credible sources for your project. Scroll down to the Types of Psychology Sources table to help identify the types of sources you need to complete your milestone. Consider reaching out to a librarian using email address to ask a library-related question.

Select your clinic’s specialty and target population from the Project One Milestone Options PDF document, and choose a provided article as your first primary source. Next, using the Shapiro Library or other sources, identify another primary source to support your brochure. This source should be a primary research report containing an introduction, a description of methods and participants, a result section, and a discussion and conclusion. It should not be a review article, a meta-analysis, or a letter to the editor. Complete your milestone using the Project One Milestone Template Word Document. You must address each of the rubric criteria listed below in about 750 to 1,000 words total.

Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:

  • Select your clinic’s specialty from the options provided and explain why you selected that option.
  • Select a target population for your clinic from the options provided and explain why you selected that option.
  • Create an annotated bibliography entry for the primary source provided. Sources should be described in your own words for a general audience. Your entry should include a summary of the following:
    • The problem addressed
    • The methodology, measurements, and sample
    • The findings
    • Conclusions and limitations of the research design
  • Create an annotated bibliography entry for the primary source of your choice. Sources should be described in your own words for a general audience. Your entry should include a summary of the following:
    • The problem addressed
    • The methodology, measurements, and sample
    • The findings
    • Conclusions and limitations of the research design
  • Compare and contrast the cognitive interventions presented in your articles (at least one intervention per article) and explain why you think they would be effective. Include the following in your comparison:
    • The respective strengths of each intervention
    • How the articles address your target population. If they do not, what would need to be modified in the intervention?

  • Your post and reply will be 1-2 paragraphs in length.

This discussion board will focus on the process of amending the state constitution as discussed in Chapter 3. Begin by reviewing the ballot measures that were considered by Florida voters in 2020Links to an external site. and 2022Links to an external site..  There are 6 Amendments from 2020 and 3 Amendments from 2022 to select from and the “Amendment #” is a hyperlink to a more detailed webpage to review for this discussion board.

Identify and research one amendment that interests you that was on the ballot in Florida in November 2020 or November 2022. Take time to read over the details on the Ballotpedia webpage for the specific amendment that you select. Your post should be drawn from the detailed information provided on the entire webpage including the supporters and opponents of the amendment along with their arguments (analyze this closely and consider why these individuals or groups may have supported or opposed the amendment), the media editorials, and the path to the ballot. Your reading and research should prompt you to follow links to other sources. Conduct additional investigation; this is encouraged.

Post: After evaluating the amendment and related information, answer the following numbered questions in your post:

  1. Identify the ballot year and the amendment you researched.
  2. Discuss if the issue your amendment addresses is best decided by voters, or should the legislative branch make laws on these issues on our behalf? Why?
  3. How are initiatives and referendums are related to direct democracy?

This discussion forum will be assessed on a 10-point scale and is worth 5% of your final grade.

Revenue Management (Discipline-Specific Skills) [WLOs: 1, 2, 3] [CLO: 2]

Prior to beginning work on this discussion forum, review the Domain 4: Revenue Management review questions in your Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Exam Preparation textbook, and review Chapters 7 through 9 from your Health Information Management: Concepts, Principles, and Practice Every week you are reviewing different RHIA domains. During the weekly discussion, you will be expected to review the RHIA practice questions for the respective domain being covered. The weekly discussions will provide an opportunity for you to ask questions about the practice questions, concepts, definitions, or review of the weekly domain.

Domain 4: Revenue Management Domain makes up 16% of the RHIA exam. The following knowledge is covered in this week’s domain review:

  • Apply knowledge necessary to educate providers on value-based care programs and guidelines.
  • Validate coding accuracy.
  • Monitor health plan clinical documentation requirements.
  • Conduct clinical document improvement (CDI).
  • Verify the claims management process.
  • Assign diagnosis and procedure codes and grouping according to official guidelines.
  • Apply knowledge necessary to conduct revenue integrity activities.
  • Apply knowledge necessary to perform fraud prevention.

After completing the review questions, include four questions regarding this week’s domains or practice questions. Include information you researched to assist in answering the questions, feedback from the RHIA practice exam, and external resources that supported your knowledge of the content. This is a great dialogue to include concepts in which you would like to strengthen your skills and knowledge.

Your initial post should be at least 250 words. In addition to the course material, utilize a minimum of one scholarly source to support your opinion and discussion (see the Scholarly, Peer-Reviewed, and Other Credible ResourcesLinks to an external site. table for assistance). Include in-text citations and reference your sources in APA format as outlined in the Writing Center’s Introduction to APALinks to an external site.. (see APA: Citing Within Your PaperLinks to an external site. APA: Formatting Your References ListLinks to an external site. for assistance).

Guided Response: Respond to at least three of your peers. By Day 7, provide feedback on your peers’ support their questions regarding the Domain 4: Revenue Management and provide at least one suggestion to further assist your colleagues in being successful in Domain 4. Your three required posts must be on three different days of the week.

Part I

Assignment Content

Consider that emergency medical services (EMS) profession has multiple hot topic conversations related to engaging in public health, community risk reduction, and community paramedicine (CP). As an EMS leader, we are often tasked with speaking to these topics.

Reflect on your local agency’s current practice of CP. If your agency is doing CP now, explain whether you think it is successful. How would you improve the CP program? If your agency does not provide this service, how would you introduce the idea of starting a CP program to your agency?

Your journal entry must be at least 200 words in length. No references or citations are necessary.

For this assignment, draft a two-page essay answering the following questions:

  1. Describe your home or office computer setup to include all peripheral equipment, networks, and the internet or intranet. Be sure to describe all input, output, and storage devices.

Use following hyothesis:

We have several predictions in this study. Generally, if participants take the perspective of an eager-cheater or a hesitant-cheater, then they will more strongly disagree that using an answer key is cheating than if they take the perspective of a non-cheater, with little to no differences expected between the eager-cheater and hesitant-cheater conditions. Conversely, if participants take the perspective of an eager-cheater or a hesitant-cheater (compared to taking the perspective of a non-cheater), then they should more strongly agree that using an answer key is acceptable if the answers are already easy to find, if the professor does not bother to change the exam, if the exam is extremely difficult, if the person using the answer key is not paying for the answers, and if other students are likely to use the answers.

Having looked at the system, Management felt that the solution could help with the HR traditional and transactional activities of the organisation. Management decided to procure the solution from the Vendor.

After implementation, it was discovered that the system was not meeting the needs of the HR department and that the HR processes for the organisation were not addressed by the solution.
