In this project, you will conduct your own research and then create and evaluate a health promotion program that targets one of the following issues:

• tobacco use cessation,
• type 2 diabetes,
• mental health disorders,
• increased physical activity (either childhood, adult, or elderly), or
• early childhood nutrition.

After reviewing the resources in Unit VII Study Guide and conducting your own research, create and evaluate a health promotion program to address your chosen issue.

Your project must accomplish the following objectives:

• Provide detailed information on how you will use MATCH (Multilevel Approach To Community Health): a five-step planning model (selection of health and behavioral goals, intervention planning, program development, program implementation, and evaluation) introduced on page 173 of your eTextbook to create a community health intervention program.
• Provide detailed information on how you will use each of the five major steps of programming (program planning) to create a community health intervention program.
• Propose a minimum of three specific and realistic objectives for your health promotion program.
• Demonstrate critical thinking by providing detailed information on how you will use each of the six steps of evaluation to evaluate your program.
• Discuss the performance improvement approaches that are most relevant to your program.

Your project must be at least four pages in length, not counting the title or reference pages. You are required to use at least four sources, one of which may be your eTextbook, to support your project. All sources used must have citations and references in APA Style. APA formatting is otherwise not required.

 

Instructions

1. Elliptic Curve Cryptography has gained momentum in application recently because of the relatively smaller key size to achieve the same level of security using another asymmetrical algorithm like RSA. For example, a key size of 3072 in RSA has the same strength as an ECC key size of 256. In this paper, you are going to explain the Elliptic Curve Algorithm and why the key size does not have to be large to provide acceptable level of security for todays computing needs.

In Lesson 2, you read about Deva’s observations during one of her visits. To review:

1. Henry and Vince were playing in the block area. Henry wanted a blue block from Vince. Vince did not want to share his block. Henry grabbed it and ran to another area of the room.
2. Tristan’s behavior became increasingly aggressive during transition time.
3. Evelyn and Barbara have difficulty taking turns.
4. Katy and Kimberly cry a lot and have a difficult time transitioning from activity to activity.

Based on what she learned in EED212 at Rio Salado College, Deva concluded these behaviors may be typical of challenging behaviors demonstrated by toddlers and preschool children. Therefore, she decides to create a PowerPoint Presentation and use what she observed as examples to train her staff on effective classroom management strategies and how to build positive, healthy relationships with young children.

For this critical thinking assignment, you will develop a 5–10 slide PowerPoint Presentation that includes:

1. A practical definition of classroom management.
2. Three classroom management strategies.
3. Three strategies with examples to develop effective routines, procedures, rules, or transitions.
4. A one-day calendar for a toddler class.
5. Three strategies to develop healthy, positive relationships with young children.
