[Solved] Documented Donor Cultivation Strategies

[Solved] Documented Donor Cultivation Strategies

Cultivation strategies should be customized for each type of donor, based on the ability of the organization’s infrastructure to create and maintain donor relationships as well as the needs of the donor types. Creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with individual donors may be a bit different than doing the same with foundation staff or government agency staff. Put yourself in “the shoes” of the donor. How would you like to become and remain engaged with the nonprofit organization? What kind of communication would you appreciate? What would you need from the organization to remain a loyal donor? In a 3- to 4-page paper (not including the title page and references), identify and describe cultivating potential donors. Briefly describe the nonprofit organization you are using for your Final Project. Specify the donors that the organization currently relies on for financial support. Critically evaluate the existing overall donor cultivation strategies. Describe two new donors for this organization. Explain how you would cultivate relationships with those specific potential donors. Finally, evaluate how the documented donor cultivation strategies would improve on and build the level of trust, loyalty, and engagement that donors have in the organization. Use proper APA formatting and include the following: An introduction that states the purpose of the paper Level 1 headings to define each part of the paper A conclusion to synthesize the entire paper A minimum of three scholarly sources to support your paper In-text citations as appropriate A reference list Be sure to support your Assignment with specific references to the resources and other current literature in the Walden Library.

[Solved] Spreadsheet Using “ Xxxx

  1. Download the Fractional Data Assignment Worksheet from Canvas and open it in Excel.
  2. Enter your name and the last two digits of your VMI id (this will be checked incorrect entry will result in a 4-point penalty). Excel will generate two decimal and four binary fractional numbers.
  3. Convert the decimal and binary fractional numbers as prompted and enter the converted values into the worksheet. Excel will check if the entered value is correct. If so, TRUE will be displayed to the right, otherwise FALSE will be displayed. Excel will update your score giving 2 points for each correct entry.
  4. Once you have scored 20 points (or at least the best score you are willing to submit), save the spreadsheet using “xxxx Fractional Data Worksheet” where xxxx is your name, and the name of the spreadsheet.

[Solved] Thinking Patterns Might Contribute

[Solved] Thinking Patterns Might Contribute

  • This assignment has two parts: A and B. Respond to BOTH parts. Your total response  must be at least 15 sentences. It can be longer.
  • View the videos in PART A, pick at least two videos and respond to the questions under the videos. Your response to part A must discuss at least a couple of the videos attached here. You don’t need to use APA format when referring to the videos here, but label the study strategy (e.g. dual coding).
  • For PART B, come up with one correlation example (either pick question 1 or 2) and write it in your own words.
  • Label your responses as PART A) and PART B)
  • Your post must be written entirely in your own words. You don’t need to cite sources other than the videos for this assignment, but if you do use other sources, use APA format citations. We’ll learn more about this for future discussions that do require sources. See my announcements and the resources in the first Canvas module.
  • Respond to two other students’ posts. Your responses have no specific length requirements, but you need to refer to something in the student’s post, showing deep engagement with the topic(s) discussed by the other students: something like “I agree” or “Interesting!” is NOT enough for the points. See the discussion instructions for responses to students.

PART A: Memory strategies

Watch the study strategy videos below. Choose at least TWO study strategies from the videos that you think will work for you or you recognize using them before. Why did you choose those strategies? Explain IN DETAIL how you will use these strategies, and/or how you have used them in everyday life.

PART B: Correlation

Pick one of these questions (1 or 2) and clearly label which one you are responding to:

Question 1: Even though two things are correlated (reliably co-occur in a systematic manner), some third factor can be behind both of them. Come up with two variables that could be correlated but don’t in fact influence each other. Instead, there’s a THIRD VARIABLE that affects them and explains the correlation. Clearly identify the two variables that are measured (for clarity use bold letters or highlight them), and clearly identify what you think the third variable is and explain why.

The third variable must be something that systematically influences both of the measured variables and it must explain why the measured variables are correlated. See the example below and more in this lectureLinks to an external site., but come up with your own example.

  • There’s a positive correlation between amount of ice-cream sold and frequency of boating accidents. The more ice-cream is sold, the more boating accidents occur, and vice versa. Does ice-cream eating cause accidents on the water? Do boating accidents cause people to eat ice-cream? Nope! This correlation is coincidental because there is a THIRD VARIABLE that directly and systematically influences each of the measured variables (making it look as if there is a correlation between the measured variables). Ice-cream sales and boating accidents DO correlate, but they do NOT influence each other directly. Ice-cream sales are regulated by weather/temperature (warmer weather leads to more sales, colder weather to lower sales). At the same time, people are more likely to go boating in warmer weather which can lead to accidents on the water. Weather/temperature is the third variable that predictably and consistently influences BOTH ice-cream sales and accidents on the water.

Question 2: We often believe that two things are related, even though in actuality we just notice random coincidences. We easily perceive patterns even when they are not there. Believing that two variables are associated with each other when they are not is called an illusory correlation. Note that this is different from question 1 in which the variables are correlated but there’s a third variable that explains that correlation. With illusory correlation, there’s really no correlation at all, but the person feels like there is.

Can you identify any illusory correlations that you or people you know hold (or have held in the past)? Why do you think you or others had that belief? What kinds of thinking patterns might contribute to the illusory correlation?

The Case of Chad

Chad is a 45-year-old man currently in prison for raping 3 women. Chad had met these women on separate occasions at a bar. In each case, he put Rohypnol in their drinks when they were not looking. He would wait for the drugs to take effect and then take each of his victims to the bathroom and rape them. He reported the rapes were about feeling powerful, and he liked feeling as if he had control over these women.

Write a 500 (word paper on the etiology behind the sexually deviant behavior in this case) – the case above about Chad!

Include the following:

  • Describe the sexually deviant behavior.
  • Choose 2 theories for possible causes of the behavior. Identify precursors from the case study to support your ideas.
  • Compare the tenets of each theory, and explain how they apply to the case study.

Include a minimum 2 sources.

Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.

[Solved] Must Use Excel Functions

[Solved] Must Use Excel Functions

During this week, start working on the Case Study which is due at the end of Week 6. This is the Chapter Case: Bullock Gold Mining at the end of Chapter 8 on page 274 of your text.

This case requires that you use Excel to calculate the Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Modified Internal Rate of Return, and payback period of a project. You will need to provide answers to Steps 1 and 2 in the exercise using Excel to present your calculations (Step 3 is not required.).

For Step 1: You must use Excel functions and formulas to perform all necessary calculations. Submissions with only numbers and no formulas or functions will not receive credit for this assignment. Your submission must be neatly organized and must clearly present your work and results.

For Step 2: Submit a Microsoft Word document that:

  1. Summarizes the problem.
  2. Provides your analysis of the work performed in Step 1.
  3. Recommends whether the company should open the mine based upon your analysis.

[Solved] “ Plan ”

[Solved] “ Plan ”

The CEO of Jones Industries (a company that provides accounting services to medium sized businesses) loved the last consulting you did for him so much he has brought you back!  This time to set up a motivation program for his employees.

He went to a seminar on motivation and brought back some literature from the program (see below).  He wants you to pick three points (stating why they are best) and tell him how you would go about implementing them—again, this is your typical account firm: they do the books for other companies.

https://www.snacknation.com/blog/how-to-motivate-employees/

Like before, he wants this information in the next two hours.*

*Note:  As the CEO wants the information in 2 hours (although, obviously, you have until the assignment is due to turn in your memo), you are not expected to do any sort of advanced research (aside from reading the links above, and the information in the book and slides).  Likewise, no citations are needed.  Furthermore, as you are given no further information about the situation, your “plan” will be viewed in such a light.

You are to write a 1+ page, formal memo (the text needs to go onto the second page, even if it is a single word) addressing this situation.  The memo should be single spaced, with a full space between paragraphs (like this document).

[Solved] Background Patient History Age

[Solved] Background Patient History Age

Module 5 covers microorganisms and viruses that cause disease as well as their treatments and presence within the population. This is a two part assignment. You will be required to complete the following three tasks:

  1. Write your own, original case study. Use the criteria listed below to guide you through the requirements and technique of writing a case study. It must be posted inside the discussion board and cannot be an attachment. If you do not know how to make sure your case is inside the text box and not attached contact your instructor for assistance.
  2. Reply to another student with the solution to their case study, including the criteria listed under Part 2.

PART 1

Post Your Own Case Study

Introduction and Background

  • Patient history
    • age
    • gender
    • travel history
    • food history
    • time and place of illness onset
    • any events attended or other possible exposures
    • any all patients associated with the case should have a brief patient history included, even if they are a group.

Presentation of Findings

  • A minimum of three signs and symptoms being presented by the patient (chills, fever, vomiting, white cell abnormal counts, sore throat, other test results you learn about that may contribute information to the identification of the disease but do not use a test result that is specific to the pathogen). Example, a CBC or DWC (whole blood count or differential white count) numbers can be provided and stated as abnormal, but do not list a positive reaction on a strep A test. (The strep test is specific and would give away the case whereas the blood tests would be helpful but less specific).
  • Describe 2 test results that were used to help understand what was happening to the patient. The full name of the test, how the test works and what the results were for the patient.
    • You may NOT use any test that was described in the BC microbiology lab. You will need to learn about diagnostic tests that are currently used in hospital labs.

Conclusion

  • Describe a suggested or applied course of treatment. What medications were prescribed and why. State if the medications helped or did not help.
  • Describe any non-medication treatments

Case studies should be no more than three paragraphs. It should be direct and to the point but include all the information listed in Part 1.

You may select any of the following pathogen types for to create your own ORIGINAL case study.

  • Bacteria
  • Viral
  • Parasitic Protozoan
  • Helminth

DO NOT PROVIDE THE ANSWER TO YOUR CASE STUDY!!!!  After posting your own case study, you will be required to respond to another student with the answer to their case study. PLEASE DO NOT solve more than one case study. Each student is required to solve one, so please do not attempt more than one. You are not required to list sources in the original case study but are required in the reply post in Part 2.

PART 2

Solving a Case Study

The following criteria must be met in your solution to another students case:

  • Name of pathogen causing the disease
  • Describe the evidence in the case study that led you to your conclusion
  • Provide a recommended course of treatment

Your reply with your solution must be at least one paragraph consisting of 150 words or more. All sources used should be listed in MLA format.

If someone solves your case study, it is common courtesy to let them know if they got your case study correct.

Post your case study in this discussion thread! Be sure to make it interesting, funny or just creative. Have some fun with the assignment!

[Solved] Codominance Incomplete Dominance Multiple

[Solved] Codominance Incomplete Dominance Multiple

Overview:For this assignment, you will prepare an infographic focused on genetics, highlighting traits that “break the rules” of Mendel.  Please follow the instructions below and be sure to follow APA formatting guidelines. For more guidance about APA formatting, please visit the APA Resources folder in the Student Resources course menu tab.*To view the grading rubric for this assignment, click the name of the assignment (above), then click “View Rubric”

Instructions:In Module 4, we learned about genetics, including traits that “break the rules” of Mendel. For this assignment, you will create an infographic that communicates the information below. See the attached handout to view resources that can assist you in creating some of these deliverables.

  1. Create a deliverable that addresses two (2) traits that “break the rules” of Mendel from the categories listed below.
    • Codominance
    • Incomplete Dominance
    • Multiple Alleles
    • Sex-Linked
    • Recessive Lethal
  2. For each category selected, make sure to correctly name the trait, how it fits into the category, and how often the trait is seen among living organisms. Your examples must be different from those presented in the textbook.
    • This might include the chromosomal location
    • And/or the number of alleles (e.g., spots where the traits are located on the chromosomes
    • And/or the “mixture” of the alleles
    • And/or how the trait is diagnosed (if a disease or condition)
  3. Pictures and other graphics are welcome, but if they are not your own be sure to CITE where you found the information (remember your examples must be different from those presented in the textbook).

[Solved] Include One Health Promotion

[Solved] Include One Health Promotion

  • Subjective: What details did the patient provide regarding their chief complaint and symptomology to derive your differential diagnosis? What is the duration and severity of their symptoms? How are their symptoms impacting their functioning in life?
  • Objective: What observations did you make during the psychiatric assessment?
  • Assessment: Discuss their mental status examination results. What were your differential diagnoses? Provide a minimum of three possible diagnoses and why you chose them. List them from highest priority to lowest priority. What was your primary diagnosis, and why? Describe how your primary diagnosis aligns with DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria and is supported by the patient’s symptoms.
  • Plan: What was your plan for psychotherapy (include one health promotion activity and patient education)? What was your plan for treatment and management, including alternative therapies? Include pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatments, alternative therapies, and follow-up parameters, as well as a rationale for this treatment and management plan.  Discuss an identified social determinate of health impacting this patient’s mental health status and provide your recommendation for a referral to assist this patient in meeting this identified need (students will need to conduct research on this topic both in the literature and for community resources).
  • Reflection notes: What would you do differently with this patient if you could conduct the session again? If you are able to follow up with your patient, explain whether these interventions were successful and why or why not. If you were not able to conduct a follow-up, discuss what your next intervention would be.
