[Solved] Could Make Needed Lifestyle

[Solved] Could Make Needed Lifestyle

Have you empowered a patient to believe they could make needed lifestyle modifications irrespective of the barriers that exist in their environment? Please provide examples. If so, you were engaged in health promotion activities as part of your nursing role.

Were there any strategies used in this simulation exercise that you use to improve patient health literacy? Are there any that you use that were not mentioned here? In your experience, how effective are these strategies?

What are some of the biggest challenges you encounter when trying to improve health literacy? What solutions can you offer to manage these challenges?

[Solved] Please Review Previous Work

[Solved] Please Review Previous Work

write a critique of a research article. (example will be provided)

research article will be provided in pdf format.

research topic is “The Impact of Nursing Diversity in Patient Care on the Medical-Surgical Floor”

Please review previous work done and follow the rubric carefully and write each answer in different paragraphs with titles;

Rubric;

1.      Is the research study relevant to the study of nursing, (be specific   and include examples from the article)?

2.  Is the method/design appropriate in terms of the research question/hypothesis? What was the research question/hypothesis? Was it clearly stated? Refer back to Polit & Beck (2021) (The Method Section). Key elements are discussed, and identification of items should be included. Provide a description of each of these key elements.

3.   What is the theoretical context? See chapter 7 in Polit & Beck. The terms theoretical and conceptual frameworks are used interchangeably. Theories are used to describe, predict, explain, and to control phenomena.   (Theoria is a Greek Word that means beholding or speculation).

“Theoretical frameworks provide the organization for the study. It guides the researcher in the interpretations of the results. the importance of the theory is dependent on the degree of research based evidence and level of its theory development. There are four levels of theory development 1) factor isolating (describe phenomena) 2) Factor relating (explain phenomena), 3) Situation relating (predict

the relationships between/among phenomena), 4) Situation producing (control phenomena and relationships

**If your article does not have a theoretical framework what do you suggest based on Polit & Beck Chapter 7?

4.  Describe the results of the study (identify if they are believable or not)

5.  Are the results significant? In what way-explain use examples?

6.   Are the results transferable? How? Transferability refers to the readers of the research to make connections but invites readers of research to make connections between elements of a study and their own experience. Transferability does not involve broad claims. How does this research apply to YOUR specific practice as a Registered Nurse?

According to Brown (2005), Transferability can be enhanced by providing what is often referred to as thick description (i.e., giving enough detail so the readers can decide for themselves if the results

are transferable to their own contexts).

7.  Implications for nursing practice, be specific how would this study impact nursing practice (use specific examples from the article)?

8.  Implications for future research, be specific and use examples from the article.

9.  The paper shall reflect a scholarly effort; proper grammar, coherence, spelling, and accurately use APA format. Have someone proof read your paper. Read your paper out loud to yourself.

[Solved] 5 Years Old Case

[Solved] 5 Years Old Case

Read the following case and answer reflective questions.Provide evidence based rationals for your answers APA 7th forma and scholarly references no older than 5 years old

CASE STUDY: Preschool Child: Ricky Ricky, age 4 years, arrives in the clinic with his mother. Ricky lives with his mother and father, who both work full-time, and his infant sister. Their extended family lives in a different state more than 100 miles away. Both parents are of average height and in good health. Ricky’s mother mentions that Ricky often expresses frustration, particularly in regard to food. Conflict over food occurs every day. Mealtime is a battle to get him to eat, unless his mother feeds him. Ricky’s baby sister seems to tolerate all baby foods but requires her mother to spoon-feed. Ricky’s mother is quite frustrated and concerned that he will become malnourished.

Reflective Questions

1. What additional assessment information would you collect?

2. What questions would you ask, and how would you further explore this issue with the mother?

3. In what ways does the distance of the extended family influence this family’s approach to health promotion?

4. What factors would you consider to determine whether malnourishment is a factor in this family?

[Solved] Private Health Information Exchanges

[Solved] Private Health Information Exchanges

1. Interoperability can only be achieved when provider organizations do the work necessary to participate. Do provider organizations have the necessary incentives to do that work?

2. Private health information exchanges seem to be growing at a faster pace than public health information exchanges. Public exchanges should arguably offer more value to patients and lower costs to provider organizations. Why the discrepancy?

3. The INPC, originated as a research project, was initially funded by grants and one of the ongoing value propositions is research use of the data. Is research necessarily critical to success of a health information exchange?

4. Establishing and operating a health information exchange requires a variety of investments including computing and network infrastructure, software systems of various types, legal and operational costs. Would you agree that data capture and normalization is the largest investment required?

5. Computing infrastructure, networking technology, software and clinical information standards will continue to evolve rapidly and investments in the technology will depreciate relatively rapidly. What are the core assets of an HIE if not these things?

[Solved] Would Support Practice Change

[Solved] Would Support Practice Change

  • Review the readings in the White, Dudley-Brown, and Terhaar text. With your current health care organization (psychiatric behavioral hospital), or an organization you are targeting for your DNP Project, in mind, consider the area(s) of greatest challenge with regard to translating and applying evidence for a practice change initiative, e.g., leadership, technology, collaboration, stakeholder buy-in. Focus on the relevant text chapter(s) in your Discussion preparation.
  • Consider theories and best practice recommendations for addressing your identified challenges and barriers to translating and applying evidence that would support practice change initiatives.
  • Reflect on the philosophy of nursing practice that you developed. Consider your role as a DNP in creating an organizational culture that embraces evidence-based practice and quality improvement.

With these thoughts in mind …

Post an explanation of the challenges and barriers to translating and applying evidence for practice change in your target health care organization (Behavioral health hospital). Briefly explain your issue(s) of concern and describe specific approaches for addressing these challenges. Explain how you view your role as a DNP in creating a health care culture that promotes translation of evidence for quality improvement and explain why. Then, recommend actions and activities you could model and lead, including through an EBP QI project, to advocate for quality improvement and social change in nursing. Be specific and provide examples and at least 3 references.

[Solved] Two German Physicists Heimstaedt

[Solved] Two German Physicists Heimstaedt

I find the use of microscopes fascinating. It still blows my mind that before the microscope was invented looking at cells and all their components was never a thing! The use of the microscope opened so many doors in medicine, it really is incredible. A specific scenario where I would require the use of a microscope would be if I were wanting to identify certain toxins that may be responsible for causing autoimmune diseases such as Lupus. The type of light microscope that is needed in this scenario uses fluorescent-labeled antibodies to detect certain bacteria, viruses, or toxins. It uses specific staining techniques to identify distribution of proteins or other molecules. Fluorescent microscopes were first invented in between 1911 and 1913 by two German physicists Heimstaedt and Lehmann.

The second microscope I would use is a confocal microscope. A confocal microscope offers high-quality images that are relatively easy to obtain from specimens, which makes it one of the more popular microscopes. However, this specific type of microscope can increase cell and tissue death due to the high- intensity laser. This may cause people to opt out of using the Confocal microscope if they are dealing with certain tissues or cells that are more sensitive.

[Solved] G Slote Believes

[Solved] G Slote Believes

Initial Post

In this Module, you have learned about Virtue Ethics and spent time thinking about an article written on your applied ethics topic from the perspective of a virtue ethicist. In your initial post, you must do the following:

  1. Clearly explain the author’s position on your topic (euthanasia). This should be formatted like a thesis statement (e.g., Slote believes that it is wrong to ….).
  2. Clearly explain the author’s reasons in support of this position. Make sure to do so well enough that your classmates who are working on another topic understand the author’s argument as well as how it counts as an argument from a virtue ethical perspective.
  3. Then, state whether you agree with the author’s conclusion and explain why or why not.

[Solved] Supporting Document “ Accessing

[Solved] Supporting Document “ Accessing

For this task, you will create a report on the competitive position of the company from your completed Marketplace Simulations business simulation referenced in Task 1.

Note: This task should not be attempted until you have passed Task 1.

SCENARIO

As a leader in your business, you are responsible for reporting to other stakeholders about the competitive position of your business during its first six quarters. Your report will provide an analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats facing the business. It will also address the competitive position of the business in the marketplace and organizational goal setting.

REQUIREMENTS

Your submission must be your original work. No more than a combined total of 30% of the submission and no more than a 10% match to any one individual source can be directly quoted or closely paraphrased from sources, even if cited correctly. The similarity report that is provided when you submit your task can be used as a guide.

You must use the rubric to direct the creation of your submission because it provides detailed criteria that will be used to evaluate your work. Each requirement below may be evaluated by more than one rubric aspect. The rubric aspect titles may contain hyperlinks to relevant portions of the course.

Tasks may not be submitted as cloud links, such as links to Google Docs, Google Slides, OneDrive, etc., unless specified in the task requirements. All other submissions must be file types that are uploaded and submitted as attachments (e.g., .docx, .pdf, .ppt).

Provide a written report containing the following:

Note: It is recommended that you use the attached “Competitive Analysis Template” to structure this report.

A.  Conduct a SWOT analysis of your business in the simulation by doing the following:

1.  Identify one strength, one weakness, one opportunity that has not been met, and one threat that has not been resolved. The SWOT analysis should plausibly reflect the simulated business at the end of Quarter 6 of the simulation.

2.  Justify each strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat from part A1 based on information from your business.

B.  Analyze the competitive position of your business in the business simulation by doing the following:

1.  Incorporate three strategic line graphs from the “Market” section of the strategic graphs in the final quarter (i.e., Quarter 7) of the simulation into your report.

Note: Refer to the supporting document “Accessing Strategic Line Graphs” for information about accessing these graphs. You must be in Quarter 7 of the simulation to access the final strategic line graphs, which cover Quarters 1–6.

2.  Analyze how specific events and decisions in your business simulation led to the outcomes shown in each of the three strategic line graphs from part B1.

C.  Provide recommendations for the future by doing the following:

1.  Suggest one SMART goal for your simulated business for the next one to three quarters (Quarters 7–9).

2.  Explain why the goal from part C1 was suggested, including how the goal addresses specific needs of the business.

D.  Acknowledge sources, using in-text citations and references, for content that is quoted, paraphrased, or summarized.

E.  Demonstrate professional communication in the content and presentation of your submission.
