[Solved] Human Service Professional Bound

[Solved] Human Service Professional Bound

Imagine you are a human service professional bound by general ethical principles, but also by the agency policies of your employer. Your agency only provides career assistance; all other assistance is a referral to other resources. The client is in a situation where they cannot afford clothes for interviews, and your agency provides no monetary assistance. Other options have been exhausted, and you are contemplating paying for an outfit yourself because this client is sincerely trying to become self-sufficient.

Utilize the four assumptions of Kitchener’s model of ethical decision-making and, following a National Organization of Human Services (NOHS) ethical principle, arrive at a rationale for paying or not paying for an outfit for the client. Your initial post should be at least 500 words.

[Solved] Team Member Id Give

[Solved] Team Member Id Give

Respond to each post indiivaluly in your own words, minimum of twp paragraphs each, please.

Post 1

If I had a non-performing team member, I would use Maslow’s hierarchy theory to give the employee a sense of belonging, self-esteem, and self-actualization. I would set up a one-on-one with the team member and go over their current performance and give a briefing on the expected performance metrics. I’d ask questions to understand why they’re having difficulties in meeting the performance metrics. Sometimes people go through things in their life, and it spills over into their work. If that’s the case, I would show compassion but advise that not performing to company standards is not acceptable. Based on what the reasoning is I’d give remedial training to help solidify their weaknesses in their performance. I would listen to the team members’ viewpoints and then come to some type of consensus. I would then set up a plan of action and give clear expectations and consequences if the performance is below company expectations. Depending on what’s needed from the team member Id give weekly coaching or counseling if needed. After reviewing their progress over some time, I would reward them for their improvement or take the next steps if no improvements are made. If I don’t see any improvement, then we would go back to the drawing table or punish according to the performance.

post 2

The motivation theory and approach I would use to get team member on tracks, would be to establish clear and manageable instructions. Within our text and the information that was provided in this module. Being able to motivate someone takes a lot of work, if you understand the individual needs and how they see the situation or what they are trying to accomplish it will work in a positive way for the team. The Maslow’s theory is one of the known motivation theories. Which includes five human needs: physiological needs, safety needs, love and belonging, esteem, and self-actualization. As you read these needs, do you agree with the theory of work motivation. We as people need to see that someone care for what we do in our company/organization, human behavior. Try to understand what the reason for non-performance. Have a one-on-one talk with the individual, is there some significant reason why or why not the individual is not performed. Maybe separate that person from the group and give them small tasks on their own within the same time frame to be done. Lifting someone spirits and telling them how much you appreciate them and what they do for the company goes a long way. Being a listening ear is powerful then we think. Be a leader who cares and encourage team members to their full potential.

[Solved] Potential Failing Grade

[Solved] Potential Failing Grade

Description

This final assignment is where you synthesize all the assignments together to deliver a finished research proposal. Use the template which has been provided. Failure to utilize the template will result in significant point deductions, including a potential failing grade.

*All previousassignments have been attached

Instructions

The final assignment is to submit a refined proposal worthy of scholarly study. The process of selecting a topic is an orderly one designed to help you strengthen your research skills. Correct all of the previous assignments and submit a Proposal with the following components:

  • Title Page,
  • Abstract,
  • Table of Contents,
  • Introduction,
  • Literature Review,
  • Methodology, and
  • References

All of the elements must be formatted according to APA. The topic/problem area you select should be significant, broad in scope, and worthy of academic study. It should be 15 to 20 pages in length. Must include a turn it in report

[Solved] Find Three Quality Sources

[Solved] Find Three Quality Sources

  • To find three quality sources, you should plan to review at least 5 – 10 times that many (that is, read at least the abstract and introduction — enough to get an idea of whether the source is helpful, substantial, different from others you consult, etc.);
  • Summarise the contents of each source on the assumption that your reader isn’t familiar with same but may use your summary to decide whether to use the source him-/ herself;
  • Likewise, in explaining the relevance of each source, essentially, answer this question: what is this source giving or telling me that I can’t find anywhere else?

[Solved] Cannot Simply “ Brag

[Solved] Cannot Simply “ Brag

You will write a proposal and/or report in which you pick a topic (i.e. parking on campus) and imagine that you are working in a group with a specific solution in mind for the proposed “problem” (See below for topics). Write a report about the status of a specific solution you have set out for the “problem” that is your topic. Provide specific details about why your solution is/is not working, what you are doing to fix the situation, anticipated completion date, etc. The most important element of this report is your ARGUMENT about why your solution is a good one.

Audience: Imagine that your specific audience is the higher up in an organization hierarchy, but also keep in mind that in many ways your argument is to the larger audience of all of your coworkers.  Yes, you need to convince the organization to make the change, but you also need to convince them that they will be able to “sell” this to everyone else once they make the decision.  While they have the power, decisions are never “about” a single person.  You need to think of things from the company’s perspective, it is not just about convincing them you are right, it is about convincing them that they can convince everyone else too.

Proposal/Report Topics

Decide which of these topics you would like to focus on. Then narrow it down to a specific issue or problem.

1)    A proposal for a change in your community that will address a problem or issue that impacts the quality of life in your community.

2)    A proposal for a change in your work place (the fictitious business your group created) that will improve the morale, productivity, or safety of the employees.

3)    A proposal for a change in your specific department (at Nicholls) that will improve the quality of education for students in your major.

Development/Organization: Short Report

Since this is a section of the book we have NOT covered, you are responsible for making yourself aware of what type of report style and formatting you want to use. Most importantly, because this “problem” is one you’ve invented, you cannot simply “brag” about how well you are getting along in your solution. Rather, your report needs to address WHY and HOW your solution is proving effective for the stated problem.

READ ALL OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

First – you will need access to Tableau:

For this assignment you will be using Tableau to analyze AirBnB rental data from New York City.

To start you need to download this file – airbnb_nyc_clean.zip Download airbnb_nyc_clean.zipThe file is compressed, so you will need to unzip it.  If you are not sure how to do this Google is your friend.

Data

This data set contains the following attributes:

  • id
  • name (really more of a description of the rental)
  • host id
  • host verified (verified or unconfirmed)
  • host name
  • neighborhood group (really the borough)
  • neighborhood
  • latitude
  • longitude
  • instant bookable
  • cancellation policy (strict, moderate, flexible)
  • room type
  • construction year
  • price (rental price per night)
  • service fee
  • minimum nights
  • number of reviews
  • last review
  • reviews per month
  • review rate number (1 – 5)
  • calculated host listing count (number of listing host has in NYC)
  • availability 365 (the availability of the list 365 days into the future)
  • house rules

Assignment

Use Tableau to analyze the data and create visualizations to answer the following questions:

  1. Analyze which neighborhoods have the highest average price.  To do this create a horizontal bar chart that is sorted in descending order.  Indicate in the comments which neighborhood had the highest average price.
  2. Create a map visualization that show the average price on Staten Island.  Hint – you’ll need the latitude and longitude.  Another hint – you’ll need to filter by neighborhood.  In the comments indicate if there are more rentals close to NY or NJ.
  3. Create a vertical bar chart that compares average price received by verified and unconfirmed hosts.  In the comments indicate if there was a major difference between them or not.
  4. Create a treemap that shows which hosts (by name) have the most reviews on Staten Island (you’ll need the filter again).  In the comments indicate which host has the most reviews.
  5. Create your own interesting visualization.  In the comments indicate why you created it and what it reveals.

Each worksheet MUST have an label that indicates the question number and the actual visualization.  Example: Q1 – AVG Price By Neighborhood.

Save your Tableau file as [Your Name].twbx (obviously replace with your actual name).  Failure to properly name your file will result in an automatic 50% penalty!

Submit your resulting Tableau workbook with data (saved as a “.twbx” file) via Canvas and don’t forget to put your comments in the text box for this assignment.

HINT – the images below will give you some idea of what your visualizations should look like.  Note – I used different data so your visualizations will not match the images exactly.

[Solved] Prior Approval Autonomous

[Solved] Prior Approval Autonomous

Choose one of the following emerging information technologies to research (you can propose a different topic by e-mailing your instructor for prior approval):

  1. Autonomous vehicles
  2. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  3. Blockchain
  4. Internet of Things (IoT)
  5. Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

Be sure to focus on the technology and NOT a specific company.  For example, if the topic was smartphones you would certainly mention Apple and the iPhone as examples, but the video would not be just on the iPhone.

Create a short video (no more than 5 minutes – anything past that mark will not be graded) that does the following:

1. Explains how the technology works at a level appropriate for your fellow classmates to understand.

2. Analyzes the technology based on the material from class (the four methods) and uses that analysis to make a prediction on whether the technology will “emerge” (reach the early majority).  See video below for details on how you should proceed with your analysis.

3.  Regardless of your prediction, should the technology emerge discuss which industry or industries are most likely to benefit from the technology and which are most likely to be harmed

You must speak on the video and be sure your name is on it at the beginning.

You can use free video editing software like iMovie or Windows Movie Maker, or you can record a Zoom session.

You should upload your video to a site like YouTube, Vimeo, etc.  Just be sure to make it public so everyone in the class can view it.
