Please provide a response to this discussion. APA. 250 word minimum w/ reference. Thanks!

Compare the primary care NP role with other APRN roles.

The primary care nurse practitioner (PCNP) has a unique opportunity to have great impacts on a diverse population. a specialized nurse that can work independently or with another clinician. The independent PCNP can have an autonomous role which means that he or she has the freedom to and commitment to assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications for their patient. They can work in a private practice, within hospital systems, and within physician groups.

The PCNP is one type of advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) which requires earning a master’s or doctoral degreeand must also earn a board certification. The four types of APRNs are certified nurse midwife (CNM), certified nurse specialist(CNS), certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA), and the nurse practitioner (NP). The CNM is one that provides care to women specifically around childbirth. The CNS is one that has a clinical specialty and uses that focused experience to support the field in education, research, as a clinical expert, and as a consultant. The CRNAs are a group of nurses that administer anesthesia in surgery, and other situations that require anesthesia (Hamric et al., 2013). The PCNP is then a subset of the nurse practitioner roles.

Though all APRNs can provide direct patient care, they are all very specialized in the way that they carry out their roles.

What are similarities among the roles?

Similarities within the PCNP role and all other ARNP can be explained by reviewing the core competencies of advanced practice nursing. All APRN’s have a primary criterion that starts by earning a graduate level education, and a board certification. Their practice is then focused on the patient and family according to that specialty. The central competencies include direct clinical practice and are then supported by the core competencies. The core competencies consist of guidance and coaching, consultation, evidence-based practice, ethical decision-making, collaboration, and leadership (Hamric et al., 2013).

What are the differences?

We can point out the differences between the PCNP and other ARNP in the same review of the core competencies in the specific certifications, and focused practice. The primary care nurse practitioner role provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and medication in a primary care setting, versus the CNM who’s patient population are birthing women, the CRNA who manages anesthesia for all types of patients, and the CNS who has a specialty that they cater to (Hamric et al., 2013).

How would you communicate the role to a healthcare provider and a consumer?

When discussing the PCNP, it appears that it is helpful to use the setting in which these NPs practice. By highlighting that they often work in private practice and among primary care physicians, it is easier for the consumer to understand that the PCNP has the education and clinical background to provide care across the lifespan. When further explaining the role of the FCNP we can discuss their role in health promotion, preventative care, patient education in managing signs and symptoms of conditions, and education to manage risk factors and ways to decrease the incidence of disease.

[Solved] Last 5 Years Unless

[Solved] Last 5 Years Unless

will ask you to narrate an experience that you are experiencing personally that presents a problem in your life and how best it could be solved. Using The Undying as an example of narrating arguments about a personal problem that has to be dealt with, you may choose to invoke metaphor, symbol, and/or historical content as part of your persuasion as Boyer does in her memoir.

This paper will require research from at least 3 outside, secondary, published sources cited in MLA format. Your sources must be relevant, credible, published within the last 5 years unless historical or sacred material is used, and the sources should be separate from one another. You can’t use 3 articles from the same newspaper, for example. MLA style will be explained in class and Pages handouts in Canvas show how to cite your sources.

You will also need a Works Cited Page at the end, listing all identifying publication information about each source cited in the paper.

For this paper, you will present an argument about a current, ongoing problem you have right now and present a series of ways to handle it, supported through research.

Research will focus on supporting evidence for your central argument (why the problem is a problem) and possible solutions.

Based upon the input from Units 1 and 2, you have just received your next assignment that will contribute to your next decision. For the outdoor sporting goods client, based upon your prior decision on whether or not to expand to the next market or retain your current position, justify your decision further utilizing the chi-square distribution tool. One key criterion point: You do not have adequate data to formulate a full chi-square for the outdoor sporting goods client. However, you have sufficient data to initiate this process. You are charged to demonstrate the initial steps of a nonparametric test that are qualitative. Utilizing the null and alternative hypotheses, further present your justifications for your selection and what it means beyond the mere formulas. What is this going to tell the Board of Directors and contribute to the decision-making process?

The following information may be helpful in understanding chi-square and hypothesis testing:

Please review this helpful video. The presenter uses flipping a coin and rolling a die. These are examples and analogies used in the CTU resources.

The following are assumptions that might make the assignment more helpful and make the responses more uniform:

  • Continue to utilize the Big D scenario. Work under the assumption that the sample is based upon 2 different proposed product lines.
  • Additionally, work under the assumption that the same demographics are utilized for each product.

Polya’s four-step problem-solving process is a clear way to approach any problem. In mathematics, it is important

for teachers to have the ability to assess what students know and where they might have confusion. With Polya’s

four-step process teachers can identify if students struggle to understand to problem-solving process: identify a plan, implement the plan, or look back at their work.

Before watching the video all the way through STOP and solve the problem yourself.

A. Identify your own problem-solving technique (there is no one correct answer to HOW you solve it.

Once the problem was explained all students were placed into smaller groups where they could create and carry out

a plan to solve the problem.

Video Reflection/Discussion: Answer one of the following with each student choosing a different question.

What did you learn about Problem Solving as a result of this segment with Tonya?

Were the strategies demonstrated in this segment the only ways to solve the problem?

Max demonstrated problem-solving by working with 13 ½ dollars. Which problem-solving strategy did

Max use? Explain

The two girls demonstrated problem-solving by working with 234 nickels. Which problem-solving

strategies did the girls use? Explain.

Does problem-solving increase or decrease the amount of time to solve a problem?

Does problem -solving allow for a student to truly demonstrate if they understand or have misconceptions

related to a subject?

If all the questions are answered you may now return to number one.

Background: Often in Social Work practice, professionals are called on to develop a group. You may be given only a brief outline of the population and the issues and scopeof the group and asked to fill in the blanks to recommend the best practices in developing the actual group. You might begin with a review of literature (annotated bibliographyassignment) and look at the agency setting and policies to assure a good fit. You would want to consider the most likely problems facing this population and how to go from theory to developing and finally assessing the group’s function. This assignment is designed to help you practice these skills.Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to assess the student’s ability to digest information associated with best practices with groups, apply that information towards developing a group considering major consideration from assessment through termination, including the application of its design towards a specific problem and population. As stated above, Social Work professionals who are skilled in groups are sometimes called upon to assess an existing group or develop one from scratch. Having the ability to do this and base this work on best practices is a fundamental skill associated with professional group work.Learning Objectives:• Skills for group leadership; selection of ethical and research-supportedinterventions (EPAS 2.1.2A)• Skills for group facilitation and assessment of group process; selectionof group interventions based on research evidence (EPAS 2.1.3B)• Impact of the experiences of diverse and marginalized people andculture on group development (EPAS 2.1.4A)• Evidence-based group work practices (EPAS 2.1.6B)• Knowledge of the steps in group development (EPAS2.1.10A)

[Solved] Outdoor Sporting Goods Company

[Solved] Outdoor Sporting Goods Company

400 words with references

Big D Incorporated is nearing completion of its portfolio of recommendations for the outdoor sporting goods company. There are a wide range of measures that could be of value to the Board of Directors to consider.

Think of each measure as being a paint stroke in a corporate picture. By itself, it may not have much value. However, when combined with others, a picture is formed. The more variables examined regression, the clearer the picture. For example, consumer age, income, gender, background, industry, and interests could provide guidance to the best marketing approach to take.

Although past data are used to indicate the future, the social and economic impact of the coronavirus needs to be considered. What are the impacts to unemployment, income disruption, and recovery plan by each state?

Clearly state variables that you would utilize in your path that you are recommending. Utilize a regression model to determine if the recommendation is to expand into the new market or to not expand. Ensure that you provide adequate justification for your recommendations. The Board of Directors requires your input based upon your previous exercises from Units 1, 2, and 3.
