reply

Three recently developed tools, technologies, and assistive devices that have been created to enhance an older persons quality of life and health include smart homes, telehealth, and computer games (Hooyman et al., 2016). Smart homes are used for residences to have technology connected through appliances and devices that gives easier care access to the residents (Hooyman et al., 2016). Smart homes are beneficial for improving an older adult’s quality of life and health outcome by monitoring older adults in their homes and accessing them with personal care through technology. Telehealth is used for one to have access to any medical related educational questions and appointments through the internet rather in-person (Hooyman et al., 2016). Telehealth is beneficial for improving an older adult’s quality of life and health outcome by giving them easier access to appointments and education. Computer games can be used by older adults for brain fitness and easily be accessed by the internet (Hooyman et al., 2016). Computer games can be beneficial for improving an older adult’s quality of life and health outcome by increasing their cognitive stimuli as they work on their memory, thinking, and language. All three of these developed tools, technologies, and assistive devices have helped enhance elders quality of life and will continue to be improved as more people use them.

[Solved] New Business Models New

[Solved] New Business Models New

A  –>See More: https://mastodon.online/@consumerproducts  good is a product that the buyer or end user buys to satisfy their current needs or wants. They are not considered to be capital goods or intermediary goods since they do not produce other goods.

There are four main types of consumer goods: convenience products, shopping products, specialty products and unsought goods. These can vary in price and features based on consumer buying habits.

New business models

New business models enable firms to embed smart, connected products in systems that create value. Some of these strategies replace product ownership with a substitute that reduces overall demand for a product and shifts resource costs away from a linear consumption process to a closed loop in which used products are recycled, reducing the environmental impact of consumption.

A key element of a business model is its logic, which provides a reason for customers to choose the company over others in the market. It explains how the company plans to deliver value, meet profit and growth targets, and grow.

The logic typically involves the customer, value proposition, operating model and revenue model. A specialised tool called the business model canvas helps to explain each aspect of the business.

Professor Haim Mendelson believes that rapid technological advances will continue to refine the structure of business models. In particular, producers will increasingly engage in marketplace selling and data-driven innovations.

Substitute products

A substitute product is a product from another industry that offers similar benefits to the consumer. According to Porter, this is one of the five forces that shape the competitive structure of an industry.

Substitute products are revolutionizing industries because they offer customers many different alternatives to fulfill a particular need or want. For example, instead of purchasing a car or truck, customers can purchase a bus or bicycle.

Often  <->Click Here: Consumer Products  will choose to purchase substitute goods because they are cheaper or more convenient than the primary product. This has a big impact on retailers and manufacturers alike because they can benefit from the increased competition.

Two goods that are substitutes exhibit positive cross elasticity of demand; this means that as the price of one product increases, the quantity demanded of the other product also increases. On the other hand, two goods that are complementary exhibit negative cross elasticity of demand; this means that when the price of one product rises, the quantity demanded of the other product decreases.

Shaking up traditional supplier relationships

As the smart, connected products of the future take center stage, traditional supplier relationships are being disrupted. Specifically, e-commerce based sourcing and supply chain management are gaining traction as the best way to cut costs and improve customer service in a competitive marketplace. As a result, the modern day manufacturer has to make some big decisions about how they are going to deliver their goods and services and where the money is being spent in order to compete on a global scale.

–>The Best Consumer Products  For example, a company may need to relocate its headquarters, close a few plants or even re-locate its sales and marketing teams. Ultimately, this will result in changes to the entire supply chain from top to bottom including customer service, distribution and warehouse management. The key to surviving these changes is to establish and execute clear lines of communication that are open to all stakeholders and make sure they are aligned on the same objectives and budget.

Redistributing bargaining power

Smart, connected products are shaking up traditional supplier relationships and redistributing bargaining power as physical components become less important to total product cost. As these components are replaced by software, the importance of physical tailoring decreases, which in turn reduces the demand for suppliers of the traditional kind.

A strong union can use this power to extract rents from the firm. This is possible in situations where there is no substitute pool of nonunion workers or where the union controls the labor supply through entry restrictions or high levels of membership relative to the size of the sector.

Bargaining coverage is one indicator of the extent to which the benefits of collective bargaining are realised, and is negatively related to wage inequality between capital and labour (Hayter and Visser, 2018b; Magda et al, 2016). In Denmark, for example, bargaining coverage has been stable for many years but has declined slightly in recent decades.

[Solved] Class Time One

5. Professional Development Notebook (FEAP5b, 5e)

Description: Contrary to popular belief, student achievement is not tied directly to higher expectations, high-stakes tests, more time on task, new curricula and materials, or sophisticated technology. Improved student performance in mathematics is the result of improved teaching practices focused on a diverse student population. To improve teaching practices that lead to achievement in mathematics performance, teachers must engage in targeted professional growth opportunities and reflective practices. In this assignment, the pre-service teacher will develop a professional development notebook for activities completed during this semester that have enriched their knowledge about the field of mathematics education.

Directions: In this assignment, the pre-service teacher will attend one Face-to-Face mathematics professional development activity (outside of class time), one mathematics education professional development webinar, and write three article reviews using NCTM peer-reviewed scholarly journals (the articles’ topics will address each of the three grade level bands:  the PreK-6 grade bands, the 5-8 grade bands, and the 9 -12 grade bands).

You should complete the following for your notebook entries:

1.  Mathematics Professional Development Activity: Identify the date, activity, presentation title, location and presenter, provide a brief description of the professional development activity, include/upload documents provided by the professional development activity as participation evidence and reflect on how this activity will impact student learning in mathematics.

2. Mathematics Webinar: Identify the date, webinar title, website and presenter, provide a brief description of the professional development activity, include/upload/link documents provided by the professional development activity and reflect on how this activity will impact student learning in mathematics. https://youtu.be/WKAYKUeCqGQ

3. Journal Article Reviews: Using JSTOR Online search select one article from each of the following journals: Teaching Children Mathematics (PreK-6), Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School (5-9) or Mathematics Teacher (8-14). Read the articles you have selected, and then prepare a report according to the instructions below:

  • In one paragraph describe each journal. What is the title? What features does it include? Who is the intended audience? What organization publishes the journal? What issue did you read? When was it published? Describe the part(s) of the journal that were most useful to you (explain why). Give at least three (3) reasons why a beginning teacher should read a journal like this.

Read each article completely. You may need to read each article more than once before writing your review.  For each article, provide a citation in APA style at the top of the each review. Briefly summarize the article in one to three paragraphs, depending on the length of the article. Describe the objective(s) / purpose(s) of the article, how the research was conducted (if any) and what the results were in one to two paragraphs. List three (3) concepts you learned and how they can be used in instructional practice; consider the topics/concepts/processes that were emphasized while identifying which grade level this article would be appropriate for use with (Florida Standards). Provide your opinion while discussing any flaws with the article and how you think it could have been better. Lastly, reflect on how this activity will impact student learning in mathematics.

[Solved] Design Alignment Tool

It appears to be a simple matrix with a few columns and a few rows—and it is—but the Design Alignment Tool (DAT) is also a key instrument to require the scholar-practitioner to demonstrate the clarity and strength of their doctoral study. Every element in the study must support each of the others; they must be in alignment.

In this Assignment, you will apply what you have learned about doctoral components to prepare the DAT for your own study.

[Solved] Review Walden Doctoral Studies

The framework for a doctoral study that is quantitative in methodology is typically based on theory to provide a theoretical framework. For a qualitative study, the framework is typically conceptual. And for a mixed methods study, there can be a primary framework or a mix of the two. As you review Walden doctoral studies, you will see how different scholars have presented the framework that supports their studies.
